Tory Burch Miller Cloud Sandals Review

Tory Burch Miller Cloud Sandals Review

The Tory Burch Miller Cloud sandals caught my eye a couple of years ago when I was looking for comfortable but stylish sandals. I finally bought this pink patent pair this year. Here’s my review, and also how to style them for summer…

Miller Style Sandals

Tory Burch has a number of Miller sandal options from the thermoplastic polyurethane Mini Jelly Thong to the flat leather Metal Soft Sandal to cushioned Cloud Sandals. Each one features the iconic Double T Tory Burch logo in cutout leather or in metal.

I chose the Miller Cloud Leather Sandals I wanted a slightly wider, cushioned footbed.

Mine are an older style with a cork footbed, but the most current styles are all leather (and easier to keep clean). You’ll find the latest colors like black, ivory, and bourbon on the Tory Burch website. Also look out for them at Nordstrom, where they are often on sale.

If you prefer flat sandals, try the Miller Patent Leather Sandals. According to the reviews, these tend to run narrow, so keep that in mind if you have wider feet.

Key Features And Comfort

So, I can’t help comparing the Miller Cloud Leather Sandals to Birkenstocks because of the contoured footbed. The Miller Cloud Leather Sandals have a softer, more flexible footbed. In my opinion, that makes them more comfortable (sorry, Birkenstock fans!) Out of the box they support my feet well.

My usual size 7 fit perfectly. I really like the arch support, cushioning, and contoured footbed. I have heard that the leather footbed makes a “squish” noise when you walk, but I definitely did not hear anything in my version with the suede lining!

If you are worried about slipping there’s also a Miller Cloud Lug style with a contrasting sawtooth rubber sole.

How To Style The Miller Cloud Leather Sandals

You can wear these sandals with a number of casual outfits including shorts, jeans, skirts, and dresses. Here are some of the outfits that I’ll be wearing this summer:

Relaxed Tank Dress + Miller Sandals

If you don’t already have a t-shirt dress, consider adding one to your summer closet. They’re easy, comfortable, and versatile.

Purple Dress: Cotton Jersey Tank Dress (Iris)

Magenta Dress: Currently available in other prints or solid colors.

Crisp Shirt Dress + Miller Sandals

For a more preppy look, try a striped shirt dress with your Miller Cloud sandals. I think the combination of stripes and the bold Tory Burch logo give these outfits an elevated casual feel.

I bought my striped shirt dress from J.Crew shirt dress a few years ago. This fit-and-flared shirt dress is currently available. It is shorter but has a similar shape.

A few more shirt-dress options from J.Crew:

Long-Sleeved Midi Striped Shirt Dress

Short-Sleeved Striped Maxi Shirt Dress

Denim Shorts + Tank Top + Sandals

My shorts are an old style from Kut From The Kloth, one of my favorite jean brands. They currently have these High-Waist Denim Shorts (with a wider leg opening to give you a slimmer look) and these Welt Pocket ones.

Looking for sizes 14W-22W? Try their High-Waist Cutoff Boyfriend Shorts.

My tank top is an older version of this Ribbed Cutaway Tank which I’m wearing in size small. For reference, I’m just under 5’4″ and between 127-130lbs.

Floral Print Skirt + Fitted T-shirt + Sandals

Need an easy way to pull together an outfit? Start with a print, then match the rest of the outfit to one or two of the colors in the print.

In this case, I used the pink and green in my floral skirt to coordinate my sandals and t-shirt. (The skirt and t-shirt are both older styles from my closet).

What do you think of the Miller Cloud Sandals? Would you wear them? How would you style them?
